Harry’s first venture into presenting was a weekend show “Weekend Wind Down” (classical music) for about 18 months, until a new willing presenter came forward. With the release from the weekend program, Harry resumed presenting in a new role with “Anything Goes” on Friday Mornings, due to the illness of George Black. The program consists of ‘middle of the road’ music which initially was following by 2 hours of swing jazz. These 2 hours has now been handed over to Sid Marsh who presents his program “Swing High”. Harry’s program is a display of easy listening music with a good following by many members of the public. Harry routinely mixes his music to cover many generations of listeners and accommodates them all! Harry has many hats at KCR, he is an active committee member and holds the position of Chairman on The Committee of Management. Many listeners may see Harry as he also routinely represents KCR at the Village Markets once a month, as well as the technical supervisor for Kalamunda’s Carols by Candlelight, an outside broadcast from Stirk Park in Kalamunda. |
